STILL BLOGGIN'

Okay, so I don't keep everyone updated as much as I should. Our family has been through a whirlwind of changes (all good), so I thought I better catch everyone up on the happenings at the Whittaker house.

First change...the Whittaker house is SOLD! Yes, someone new lives at 810 Cedar Knolls. Everything worked out perfectly as my sister needed someone to rent her townhome, and we needed a place to stay while we built a new house. I know, how exciting...yet somewhat frustrating. You just want to break ground but instead it's days of cutting through red tape and permits :(

Our house closed in the middle of December, so we were up in the air about where we wanted to have Christmas. Dustin's parents were gracious enough to let Santa wreck their living room, so we headed to Milford to meet up with St. Nick. The kids were in heaven with Grandma & Grandpa Whitt and so was my husband. Let's just say that Grandma Whitt knows how to take care of a person. We had another wonderful, generous Christmas. Each day I thank my Heavenly Father for my circumstances and His ever gentle hand guiding and protecting my family.

As for the pictures posted, we finally got a half-decent family portrait. The kids pictures turned out beautiful, but I'm a little critical of the mother sitting in the family picture. Oh well, what can you do? Plastic surgery, maybe :) The hot guy sitting next to me is actually my husband. Most people mistake him for a hired model, but I just got lucky in finding me a tall, dark, and handsome man who works hard and loves me for who I am...who cares if he misses the laundry basket by a few steps or leaves crumbs on the counter. He's worth it.

Well, that's about it for today. Maybe I'll surprise everyone (and myself) by writing another blog tomorrow. I knew I could get you laughing, Nat!
