PINENUT PICKING

Jaybird swishing pop through his teeth...it's how we keep Dr. Ludlow in business ;)

Dustin trying with all his might to show off a belly...if only I had this problem!

Do they get sillier than these gals?

The Wild Whitt boys right at home in a dirt pile.

Kendra and Papa on a 4 wheeler ride.

Ain't this a good lookin' couple?!

Actually, this title is deceiving. I pretty much relaxed and watched the kids get dirty while the men picked pinenuts. My mom and dad, the Schofieldians, and us Wild Whitts headed out west one fine Saturday for some hot dogs and mountain time. It was an awesome day, and they did gather a few burrs of pinenuts. I had to post these pics....there is nothing cuter than dirty kids on a picnic :)

OUR "BUSY BEE"

Jase w/ Mrs. Brenda.

My big boy standing in line to wash his hands. Preschool is a germ free environment--Yeah Right!

Posing with the new backpack. He insisted on buying this jacket. I agreed. The boy has style!

I'm lovin' that my little guy is in Busy Bee Preschool. In good ol' Milford, both his mom and dad attended a Busy Bee Preschool with Mrs. Wiseman, so Jase thinks it's pretty neat that his school here in Enoch has the same name. His mama thinks it's pretty neat too :) Now stop growing and be my "nuggly" Jaybird forever.

AUGUST IS OVER...SNIFF, SNIFF

As the sun set on August 31, 2009, I felt a twinge of grief in my soul. A part of me was letting go of the most treasured month of the year. Time had swiftly spent its days in August, and I shed a few tears realizing I would never get the last year of my twenties back. Okay, so I didn't actually cry (crying makes me uncomfortable), but it was a little bittersweet. Good thing I have memories and pictures to keep me strong until August 2010!

I felt competely spoiled all month. Dustin bought me a fantabulous, spectacular, do-everything serger. The girls took me to lunch. I had a few birthday dinners. And I'm still enjoying the gift certificates. I mean, if I really spread out my shopping, a girl's birthday could last all year ;)

But my favorite birthday present was definitely the cake made by my honey. He went above and beyond his usual perfectness, and created a birthday masterpiece. He even went online in search of a homemade fondant recipe which he actually made himself. I documented the process in case anyone was skeptical. Anyway, here's a big THANK YOU to everyone for making me feel loved during my birthmonth. It will not be forgotton!
