Dear Jaybird,
I swear it was just yesterday that I brought you home from the hospital. I dressed you ever so carefully in a tiny, yellow outfit that your daddy wore when he was just a baby. I smelled your sweet breath every chance I had, and I raced your dad to hold you when we heard you make the slightest noise. You were my little piece of heaven to snuggle and hold.
Now you are 5 and my preschool graduate. Still my little piece of heaven, but sometimes I have to capture the snuggles :) I am so very proud of all the things you are learning and the good choices you are making. I have big dreams for you...a rocket scientist, inventor, doctor, writer. You will probably have different dreams, but I KNOW you will be able to do anything. I can see it in those determined brown (sometimes green) eyes.
So to quote one of our favorite books, "Congratulations! Today is your day. You're off to high places, you're off and away" :)
All my love,
Mom

He is so cute and getting big. Love the new post.
I love my "Jaybird". He will always be grandma's big boy. I can't love him enough....and I am so proud of him. Time has a way of getting away from us, and he is growing way too fast.
