THE HOUSE!

Just a few pictures of our house under construction. It is fun to see each new phase, and on Saturday they finished up the basement walls. They should pour the concrete on Monday or Tuesday. Dustin also dug the sewer line and didn't hit a single utility--HOORAY! Next is underground plumbing and flatwork. If all goes smoothly, we'll be framing in a week. Can I get another HOORAY!?

NINJA JASE

Jase is a ninja fighting machine. I think it's the whole "boy" thing, but he loves action! He insisted I take his picture as he ran into the living room and did karate moves. And then I had to take some shots as he jumped off my furniture like Spiderman. Where did this kid come from?

I'M TOO SEXY FOR MY SUNGLASSES

Okay, so isn't Jaxon about as cute as babies get? I'm not partial or anything, but his smile just melts my heart. I'm so grateful for my beautiful family :)

EASTER OUTFITS

We surprised the boys with Easter outfits. Jase was more excited about a present to unwrap than an outfit, but they both looked so darn cute. We visited Great-Grandma Whitt while in Milford, and both the boys loved her.

EASTER

Easter was a much needed vacation. Because the mini-ex broke down on Thursday, Dustin couldn't do anymore work on the house until Monday. I'm certain it was a gift from Heavenly Father as we were able to pack up the trailer and go camping for Easter. Jase was ecstatic as he loves camping, and Dustin needed a break from the "black hole." The weather was great and the boys loved our family outing. Crystal & Nick & Kendra, Russell & Steph & the kids, and my mom & dad all came out for some adventurous horn hunting and a delicious dinner. Then, to my surprise, Dustin woke up on Saturday and made an awesome breakfast. He even served me. Boy, do I know how to pick 'em! The Easter Bunny even had an Easter egg hunt for all the kids. Jase had been worried all week because Grandpa Holm had been shooting bunnies, which were the Easter Bunny's brothers and cousins. Kids are so funny :) Anyway, we had a great time. We enjoyed Easter morning at the house and then traveled back to Milford to church with the fam and a gourmet meal with the Whittakers!

SORRY, MRS. MILLER :(

I must have been tired when I posted about our excavating experience as I stated, "This made sound crazy." I also referred to a whole in the ground. Let's just say it had been a long day. So this is my shout out for Mrs. Miller, super English and business teacher...she would have caught that mistake in about a millisecond!
