MY NEW SISTA!

The wedding is officially over, and the Whittaker Family has a new member (applause, cheers, and welcoming band heard in the background)! Shelley and Spencer took the plunge on Friday, April 3, 2009. It was a beautiful wedding with delicious food and some seriously fun KARAOKE! Shelley had mentioned that she wasn't having any bridals, and I just couldn't stand for that. I'm no professional, but I took a few shots for her. It's not hard to get a great picture when your subject is gorgeous :)

Wind, wind go away.

"Come again," I will never say!

It's snowed in April,

and this mom is tired

of her kids inside

acting all wired.

One out of ten days

the weather is mild,

so we headed to the park

to let the kids run wild.

POPSICLES

Yesterday the boys insisted on eating popsicles outside. It was freezing, but they were super cute licking their treats. I should have recorded Jaxon on a video because he was all about pretending to lick the popsicle. And after a few minutes of their treats, they were off to the bikes and outside toys. Here's to the weather warming up and the wind going away, so we can enjoy some outside time!

SAY CHEESE

If you were betting on me buying a new camera instead of finding or buying a new cord, you are a WINNER! Dustin spoiled me at Costco with a new Nikon D60. I felt a little guilty about spending so much money on a camera that will just take snapshots of my kids, but the guilt quickly faded. I'm not much for buyer's remorse, and Costco has a great return/guarantee policy ;)

This should mean lots of new blogs with crystal clear pictures, but I make no guarantees. For heaven's sake, I'm not Costco...he, he

MY BLOG IS FEELING NEGLECTED

I lost my camera cord. I know I've used this excuse before, but sadly it's true. I'm all ready to blog about the new fireplace, Jase's playdates, my lazy butt at morning workouts, and an exciting post called, "Does My Husband Match?"....but I can't. The camera cord is missing. My usual self is saying this is a good reason to update the camera and equipment, but I'm trying this new "frugal" thing out. It's all about not buying everything you want whenever you want it. I guess it's been around for a while ; )

So my last resort is getting organized and finding the ever evasive camera cord. Wish me luck!
