WHAT? 3 NEW POSTS AGAIN!

This is a shout out to my wonderful mother! She came to Cedar to help with the boys so I could work on house/business stuff. Not only did she watch the kids, but she cleaned the house and helped me get things in order. So after Dustin got home, we headed out from some much needed relaxation...a pedicure. I told my mom she had to post her footsies on her blog. It was her first pedicure as she was hesitant to let anyone touch her feet. I'm all for pedicures as I don't want to touch my own feet :)

SANDHOLLOW ON FATHER'S DAY!

Since we skipped our planned trip to Manti, Dustin decided we would go to Sand Hollow for some sun and swimming. When the trip was over, Jase told everyone he went swimming in the ocean. Jaxon pretty much just loved eating the sand, while Dustin spent most of his time talking Jase into a new adventure in the "ocean." We built a sand castle and ate goodies galore. It was good times for the Wild Whittakers!

STILL BUILDING :)

So what's new with the house? Look at our awesome garage, fireplace, and bathtub. We spent Saturday cleaning everything up, but now with insulation and drywall, it's going to be messy as ever. Jaxon did enjoy his one day of smooth, clean concrete with plenty of room to roam in his walker! And Jase and Dustin are already looking forward to big tubs with jets. I'm just excited for my kitchen :)

HAPPY BDAY, DUSTIN!

YES, BLOGGING SERVICE, THIS IS THREE POSTS IN ONE NIGHT. NOT ACTUALLY A RECORD, BUT I FIGURED I OWED MY FELLOW BLOGGERS SOME NEW READING TONIGHT :) AND I COULDN'T LEAVE OUT MY HONEY'S BIG 29TH BDAY.

Dustin turned 29 on Friday, so we surprised him with a new 22. I couldn't wipe the smile off of his face when he opened his present. He is always guessing his presents, though, and this year was no different. Jase bought him a massager, but Dustin doesn't really get to use it because Jase always has it. It was that or a dinosaur :) Kids are so cute.

Anyway, here is a shout out for my perfect husband. And when I say perfect, I mean it! He's the type of guy that brings flowers home just because or takes us out to dinner because I just cleaned the kitchen. I don't know anyone that works harder or loves their kids more. He's never been afraid of changing a diaper, and if we leave the kids for a day, he races me into the house to see who gets to hug the boys first :) Dustin makes me laugh everyday and ALWAYS tells me he loves me. When we were dating, he would pick roses and bring them to my house or say goodbye by kissing my hand, never afraid to show affection. I've said it before, and I'll say it again....he makes me a better person!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DUSTIN!

FAMOUS GRANDMA WHITT ROLLS

Just a quick blurp about my mother-in-law's famous dinner rolls. I have been attempting the recipe each Sunday because my boys just love these scrumptious rolls. And last Sunday, I think I did it :) The first pan I loaded too many, so they ended up doughy, but the second pan was perfect and the boys scarfed them up in about a day :) A little bit of honey and some butter on a hot roll can make just about anyone smile! Thanks, Grandma Whitt!

WHAT? TIME FOR A NEW POST ALREADY!

So I got an ever-so-friendly phone call reminding me that it was time to blog. You guys should actually look into this service. A familiar voice leaves a voice message after about 30 days of inactive blogging, and best of all, it's free! Okay, so it really is time for another post. I do have lots to talk about, but I feel like free time is a rare commodity these days. Between sick kids, a sick husband, keeping up with the "books," cleaning the house, yadda yadda yadda, I feel like I'm running in circles!

We did have time for a sleepover last Monday. Jase was so excited because it was with his best buddy Blake. They are quite the pair and are always up to something. Bryson and Blake got to spend some time with Jase, so we took advantage of the nice weather and went swimming. Everybody had a good time (especially Jaxon). Swimming always goes well with the Whittaker family as long as their is LOTS of treats!

We followed up with the neighborhood play group and then Blake got to spend the night. They were so cute together and surprisingly SUPER good :) Again, the night went smooth because we stocked up on food. Blake thought it was awesome to wear Jase's PJs, and Jase made sure they both had a stuffed animal. By bedtime, they both climbed in bed and went to sleep. It was a great day for both mom and Jase!
